The Man Who Could Work Miracles by H. G. Wells

Most of the better known stories by Wells such as The Time Machine, War of the Worlds, and the Invisible Man were written around 1900. This story was written in the 1930s. It involves a very ordinary man who is suddenly gifted with the power to do anything. Exactly who Wells had in mind when he wrote it I can’t say. But in the interim we’ve had no end of flawed low wattage mortals who’ve been given too much power.
